Supporting the health of our community!

Health is a multifaceted and complex state that includes physical, mental and social well-being. While we support the well-being of our Central Alberta community by providing diagnostic services, we know that there are other aspects of community health that we can play an important role in fostering. With this understanding, we’ve invested resources into the Central Alberta community, to support our patients and the communities in which we live and work.

Central Alberta Humane Society

In early 2020 we donated $58,000 to support the Central Alberta Humane Society in the expansion of their vet clinic. Within their new diagnostic room, they have a new state-of-the-art X-Ray machine, which will help them in immediately diagnosing and treating animals in distress and in need of medical care.

Red Deer Christmas Bureau Literacy Program

Understanding that literacy is a cornerstone to a healthy community, we’ve committed to supporting Red Deer Christmas Bureau Literacy Program. In 2020, our $6,500 contribution helped the Bureau provide approximately 3000 books to children (3 per child) so that they can experience a love for reading, ignite their imagination and develop a life-long commitment to learning and success.

Central Alberta Food Banks

COVID- 19 created many challenges for the health of our patients as well as their financial well-being. With the shutdown of nonessential businesses, we knew that food banks across Central Alberta were receiving increased demand for food hampers. To help meet these needs, we donated a total of $13,500 to 4 food banks in Central Alberta.
